Performing arts academy hits high note with a virtual quarantine performance.

“During this time of lockdown, people look to the arts and the creative sector by way of escapism. We wanted to not only put a song out that would remind us of this period in years to come but also provide a much needed creative digital platform for our young people to get involved in. I really couldn’t be happier with how the young people have responded to a new digital offering.”

Aston Perfoming Arts Academy

#Empowering Youth Artistry

Aston Performing Arts Academy (APAA) is a community interest company committed to empowering the lives of young people through performing and creative arts. Operating from central Birmingham, we work with the next generation of emerging talent in the city and wider regions offering music tuition and performance opportunities.

Our fundamental activities are through our Development Programmes which operate to enhance Vocal, Performance and Music development in our students. APAA is also the home to Elements of Song – the UK’s first urban glee group that offers professional entertainment to corporate events, weddings, awards ceremonies and private functions nationally.
